I think that everything said made a lot of sense. However, consider this, suppose you typed a catchier post title? I ain't suggesting your information isn't good., however what if you added a title to maybe grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You could glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post titles to grab people to click. You might add a video or a picture or two to get readers interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
